About the OPS: OB Emergencies Workshop
The AWHONN Obstetric Patient Safety (OPS): OB Emergencies Workshop prepares nurses, advanced practice providers, and emergency responders to act quickly and confidently during obstetric emergencies. Through hands-on simulation and case-based learning, participants gain practical skills to manage high-risk situations and improve maternal and newborn outcomes.
This workshop is especially valuable for rural hospitals and emergency services without on-site obstetrical care, providing essential strategies to stabilize, triage, and coordinate safe care for pregnant patients in any setting.
